Dave Erickson Air Shows
David Erickson will fly the Dehavilland Super Chipmunk and perform for you. This airplane has been used for air show flying for nearly 30 years. Dave became interested in flying by attending air shows. Watching airplanes do aerobatic maneuvers has always held a certain fascination. To sit in the plane and have the spectacular views from doing air show flying is one of the benefits to this type of flying. Dave likes to take people up for a ride especially when it's their first flight. He enjoys watching the thrill on their face as the plane lifts off the ground. Then the relief when they land.
The annual Wings 'N' Wheels car show grows in popularity every year! It's "two for the price of one" at for specialty car show owners who come to participate in the show and watch the air show to boot! If you're a specilty car owner this is the show for you. Make it a weekend and attend events on Friday and Saturday. Registration is $15 and includes:
- Admission for 2 to Friday evening's Sneak Peek Air Show & BBQ plus 2 Drink Tickets
- Admission for 2 to Saturday's Air & Car Show
- Cold Bottled Water & Pepsi Products during Saturday's show
- Dash Plaque

About the Dan Binger Memorial People's Choice Award
I grew up in Powell and try to return to this beautiful spot whenever I can. Last year my husband Dan and I attended Wings 'N' Wheels for the first time. We brought Dan's Favorite, our 1910 Overland touring car. Dan's grandfather bought the Overland as a new car, and it has bee in our family ever since. Last year's car show was a big family event for us, with my sister Carolyn Shelby's customized Honda Civic, her husband Jim's '52 Chevy and their grandson Eric's Honda Accord being shown side by side with the Overland. At the end of last year's show, we were thrilled when the Overland received the "People's Choice Award". This award really meant so much to us, especially as there were so many other fine automobiles on display. Unfortunately this was to be the last car shw that Dan attended. He passed away last September in West Yellowstone while attending another antique car tour. Our sons John and Tom, and I are honored to sponsor the 2008 People's Choice Award this year in Dan's memory.......... Judy Binger
