Taking up only .03 percent of the plants surface, Costa Rica hosts more than 5 percent of the world’s biodiversity. Billed as one of the most valued eco destinations, the country has diligently protected more than twenty-five percent of its pristine forest and wild-life preserves. Join Christine Garceau, associate professor of photography, as she interprets the NWC Photographic Communications March 2017 Field Studies visit to Costa Rica’s capital, San Jose and Manuel Antonio National Park and coastline. This is the final event in the Northwest College celebration of Hispanic Heritage Month. The event is free and open to the public.
