For example, Cody, Wyoming was founded by the famous Buffalo Bill and it is a quick 25 minutes away on a state highway. In addition, we have Meeteetse, an authentic western town, which is an hour to the south on your way to the Wind River Country.

Having Outdoor Recreation Matters for Quality of Life

Moreover, Park County is surrounded by mountains on all sides. As a result, we have four-seasons of epic recreation for all kinds of outdoorsmen. Mountain trails, for example, offer adventurers hikes, off road biking, trail rides and pack trips, and lastly cross country and back country skiing. Mountain rivers and lakes provide world-class blue-ribbon fishing and a playground for those how like to paddle, kayak, canoe, and, yes, even sail. Hunters pose with wild game. Downhill skiers enjoy the powder. The question isn’t what is there to do? — the question is, how much gear do I need to purchase?
