    Bag Toss and Bourbon a 21+ Event

    Enjoy a Friday evening of Bag Toss and Bourbon at the Homesteader Museum’s Homesteader Days farm to table dinner. Live music, cocktails and good food are at the core of this fundraising event for our Homesteader Museum.

    The Menu from Taste and See Catering is divine. The food is sourced locally here in the #BigHornBasin with plenty of gluten free options. Caprese Salad, French Carrot Salad, Mixed Bread Basket, Rosemary Pork, Potatoes, Green Beans, Sweet Corn, Local Fruit Salad. 

    Tickets are $40/ ticket or $70 for a pair.  Tickets can be purchased at the Powell Chamber/ Visitor Center or online

    Friday September 7th from 6pm - 10pm at Washington Park in Powell, WY.

    Outhouse Races

    Saturday the Homesteader Days traditional family street festival honors our homesteading and agriculture heritage. Kick-off the days festivities with a Historic walk that features historic photos of downtown stores and community members.

    And for the first time ever outhouse races. Enter the races at the Homesteader Museum or ask the Powell MakerSpaceDownload the guidelines and plan your amazing outhouse. 

    Mark your calendars for a weekend full of local flavor in Powell.
